Cruisin’ the Grove, presented by Woller-Anger & Company, will be holding a fundraiser event, with proceeds benefiting BUILD Milwaukee. BUILD is a non-profit educational organization dedicated to pairing teams of high school students with bike-building mentors in a collective effort to learn valuable life and interpersonal skills while working on motorcycles. Their website is BuildMoto.com.
The first part of the evening is a whiskey education and tasting event. Sip and learn about Whiskeys of the World from local whiskey expert, John Bonfilio, while enjoying delicious appetizers. John, of GoodSon Whiskey Co., has generously donated the whiskey. The appetizers are compliments of Jamie O’Donoghue of O’Donoghue’s Irish Pub.
Following the tasting, there will be a presentation by Chris Tribbey. You may recall that Chris, along with his 1911 Excelsior motorcycle, were a special feature at Cruisin’ the Grove this past August. Chris recently participated in the coast-to-coast 2018 Motorcycle Cannonball on his 1911 Excelsior motorcycle. The Cannonball is said to be the most difficult antique endurance run in the world. For 2018, it was a 16-day ride that started in Portland, Maine and ended in Portland, Oregon. Chris, who was one of 123 riders, lead the event for the first ten days — come listen to his presentation for the rest of the story!
